Battlefield 4 Patch Coming Tomorrow
DICE Games’s Battlefield 4 is about to be sewn up with a much-needed patch. This patch is not your typical fix-bugs-and-call-it-a-day version. Nay, THIS patch is the kind you want, the kind that’s almost like DLC except it’s free.
When the update hits the game will run smoother, sure, but you’ll also get FIVE new weapons AND a new multiplayer mode. DICE did not reveal the exact specifics of these weapons, but they gave us a list:
- New fan favorite Assault Rifle – Picked based on its unique burst gameplay and massive fan desirability
- New Carbine – A unique bullpup carbine with built-in vertical grip
- New PDW – A unique PDW with built-in silencer
- New Sidearm – Unique long range “sniper” sidearm using magnum rounds
- New LMG – Magazine fed LMG, which with the new weapons balance, plays in between a belt-fed LMG and an AR – your “run and gun” LMG
As for the new mutliplayer mode, it’s called Gun Master and was originally featured in the Battlefield 3: Close Quarters DLC. It is similar to Team Deathmatch, except you only get new weapons with TWO consecutive kills and you must be the player who kills with the final available weapon to win.
In order to apply this patch, the game’s servers will be going down one at a time. Use this guide to figure out when mutiplayer will be unavailable for you….
