Black Ops 3 "Most Sought After" Holiday Game According To Survey
According to a new survey published by research group Nielsen, the most sought-after game that will be released this holiday season, out of all the choices that’ll be made available, is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
I know this is an FPS site, but seriously, we get a new Call of Duty every year, whereas we get Fallout games as often as Halley’s Comet shows up in the sky. Shouldn’t Fallout 4 be topping this list? Well, the results were very close. Black Ops 3 got a 98% anticipation rating and Fallout 4 got a 95%, which put Bethesda’s survival RPG in second place. These were followed by Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate(95%), Need For Speed(92%) and Star Wars Battlefront(88%).
Those were the results for multiplatform choices. As far as choices among exclusives go, Halo 5: Guardians is the top pick for XBox One by the biggest margin of any game on the survey — 100%, meaning everyone who was asked planned to get the game. Playstation 4 has Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection up top at 79%. The PC has Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void leading at 91%. The Wii U has Yoshi’s Wooly World leading with 91% (where the heck is Xenoblade Chronicles X? It’s not even on the results list at all).
In the category of portables, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden surprisingly leapfrogged over The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes with 88% and 86% respectively. The PS Vita doesn’t have much, but it does have Corpse Party: Blood Drive leading at 76% among Vita owners.
