Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Adds Sniper-Only Mode One Shot
Do you love using sniper rifles, either the way God intended or to quickscope? Are you tired of being called mean names for doing so? Call of Duty: Advanced Warfarehas a new mode just for you, the snipers only One Shot.
One Shot is a new team-based mode designed with input from pro-player NaDeSHoT. More than just limiting the map to sniper rifles only, it starts everyone with decreased health and the MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper. No secondary weapons, sorry.
Players also have to choose from five specific classes: Hard Scope, Zoomed, 4X, Ace and Irons. The clue to one big difference in these is in the names, which primarily describe the gun loadouts for the classes. Irons, for example, gets iron sights and a stock. Hard Scope gets nothing. Perks, scorestreaks and exo abilities were also chosen to give the mode a unique character. Find out more here.
The new mode kicked off this weekend with a double XP period that was supposed to end today, but has been extended until Tuesday at 9 a.m. PST.
