Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC Pack Available Now
The second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ascendance, is now officially available for XBox consoles (360 and One).
Ascendance’s main attraction is four new multiplayer maps, built to take advantage of a new ability exclusive to the Ascendance pack, Exo Grapple. Exo Grapple allows you to reach strategic vantage points in the game faster, it acts as a secondary weapon in a pinch, and it cuts thousands of julienne fries. The four new maps are as follows:
Perplex: A five-story apartment complex in Sydney, under construction by robotic drones who constantly shift the play field, requiring constant rethinking of gameplay and strategy.
Site 244: A UFO has crashed near Mount Rushmore, and now you and your friends are going to fight with large guns around it. You can fight in and around the spaceship and shoot alien spores for exo abilities.
Climate: A man-made enclosed tropical biosphere complete with a river and plenty of leafy places to hide….and wait.
Chop Shop: A medium-sized symmetrical map taking place within a black-market chop shop for exoskeletons.
But there’s more: the Exo Zombies saga continues with chapter two, Infection, starring the cast members of the first chapter: John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream, Paige the witch), and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street). Also returning is the Burger Town area, which you must defend from a relentless zombie horde.
If you already have the $50 Season Pass, you can download Ascendance for no extra charge. The price of the DLC alone is $14.99. There are two more DLC packs to go, both of which will be revealed later this year.
