No Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare For Wii U
It’s not a huge surprise to see this. Seems like most third party titles that aren’t aimed at kids are taking a pass on the Wii U lately. But now we have official confirmation, you will not see virtual Kevin Spacey on the Wii U. Unless he signs up for a different game that does show up on the Wii U, I guess. That would be weird, huh?
Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder Michael Condrey broke the news to a fan via Twitter today.
“No, no WiiU. That was an Activision decision. We are focused on XboxOne, PS4, and PC,” Condrey said.
This is a shame because there are Call of Duty fans that own Wii Us, of course. Black Ops 2 and Ghosts were released on the console. It’s also interesting that Condrey is quick to point out that it was an Activision decision, and it raises questions about future third-party releases on that console.
