Call Of Duty: Ghosts Wins Battle, Loses War In 2013
The numbers are in and it’s official – “Call of Duty: Ghosts” was a very popular video game in America – but slightly less popular than “Grand Theft Auto V”. As revealed by the year-end sales numerals, GTA V took home the trophy as the highest-selling game in 2013 across all platforms with “Call of Duty: Ghosts” coming in a close second and claiming the consolation trophy of winning the lucrative holiday month of December.
Rounding out the 2013 overall top five were “Madden NFL 25”, “Battlefield 4” and “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” with “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” holding out for an impressive seventh place finish.
