Call of Duty Names North American Call of Duty Championship Finalists
Over the weekend the final fourteen North American teams were chosen for this year’s Call of Duty Championship.
At the North American regional finals in Columbus Ohio this weekend, 14 teams were able to qualify for a shot to take on teams from around the world for part of the million bucks in prizes at stake in the world championship in Los Angeles March 27-29.
Players competed playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Taking the number one spot in the weekend’s tournament, and the $5,000 top prize, was OpTic Gaming, which overcame Denial eSports for the win.
Here are the teams that placed and their rankings.
1st: OpTic Gaming ($5,000)
2nd: Denial eSports ($2,500)
3rd: FaZe Red ($1,500)
4th: OpTic Nation ($1,000)
5th-6th: Team EnVy/Team Revenge
7th-8th: FaZe Black/Team Kaliber
9th-12th: Automatic Reload/Prophecy/Strictly Business/Team Orbit
13th-14th: 3sUP Enterprises/Below Zero
