You Can Play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Two Months Early at the GameStop Expo
If you just can’t wait until it’s out November 4, you can get some controller time with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in September at the GameStop Expo.
The GameStop Expo is a public event that will be held September 9-10 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. The event will feature dozens of vendors demoing games, but Call of Duty fans are going to want to check out the playable build of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
A press release for the expo promises players they’ll be “the first to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in North America.” Okay, we know that’s not literally true, but it would be nice to get some early time with it.
You can get a three hour student admission for $20. General admission costs $40 if you order before Aug. 15, $50 after. VIP admission, which gets you a little more access, costs $115 and $125 after that date. There’s also a VIP Plus Admission that lets you line jump, that starts at $175 and jumps to $195 after.
Yeah, that’s right, GameStop is selling special editions of the tickets for its own expo, with exclusive bonus content. And it’s encouraging you to pre-order. You can also buy your ticket in whole or in part with your PowerUp Rewards points. To complete the full GameStop experience there’s probably a protection plan you can buy at the door.
You can buy tickets or register for the event here.
