Hey, so when you log in to the Destiny beta on your Xbox One, you may notice it’s a little less sharp than it looked a your buddy’s house. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you and you don’t need to get a new TV. The beta has been confirmed to be running at a sub 1080p resolution on Xbox One.
But Bungie is aiming higher for the final release.
“This beta is where we are in development right now,” Bungie community manager David “Deej” Dague said during an IGN livestream. “The fact you are playing in the beta is of enormous help to us because it teaches us what this thing is, it teaches us how we can perfect it and make it better before launch.”
“We are aiming for 1080p on all platforms,” he said.
The lower resolutions of Xbox One versions of shooters, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts been a minor disappointment, so here’s hoping Bungie can pull it off by the game’s Sept. 9 launch date.
