Details On Destiny's Next Big Raid
Three days after The Taken King officially goes on sale, Bungie will launch the game’s first big raid, titled King’s Fall.
The king you’re supposed to fell is Hive King Oryx, who’s been featured in the trailers and whose forces will be occupying the Dreadnaught map the raid takes place in. Bungie is promising that King’s Fall will be their biggest raid yet.
If you’ve never taken part in a Destiny raid before, know this above all else: bring friends. They are usually among the hardest tasks in the game to accomplish alone, though a scant few have pulled it off. This marks the third raid Bungie has released for the Destiny game; two previous raids, Vault of Glass and Crota’s End, launched earlier in the year.
In addition to the raid, Bungie will also be releasing a new patch, the purpose of which is to finally wipe all traces of Peter Dinklage from the voice files and replace him with Nolan North. Weapon balancing, bounties, and characters’ light levels will also be retooled.
