E3 2016: The New, Customizable XBox One Controller
Microsoft is redesigning the XBox One controller again — they’re adding a new textured grip, an increased wireless range, and a few other tweaks. They’re small improvements, nothing too radical, though if you mean in the 80’s sense, yeah, these controllers are righteous.
For you see, the new XBox One controller can be customized in any color you want, and not just the shell….any piece of them can be changed. The sticks can be made yellow, the shoulder buttons can be made blue, even the “B” on the right button can be changed to any color you want. If this isn’t enough individuality for you, an extra $10 will get the controller’s bottom monogrammed with your gamertag. Microsoft says there are over 8 million possible color combinations.
Each controller will cost $79.99; the design shop will go live at a future date.

In other controller-specific news, a special version of the XBox Elite controller will be sold with designs based on Gears of War 4.
