EA is Giving Out Free Battlefield 4 DLC
E3 is over, but Electronic Arts wants to keep the upcoming Battlefield 1 fresh in your memory by stoking your interest in the franchise. That’s why they’re giving away DLC content from the last Battlefield game, Battlefield 4, for free. As of today you can get the Second Assault expansion by just downloading it for your machine of choice:
Playstation 4
Playstation 3
XBox One
XBox 360
Second Assault was first released in December of 2013 and contains four revamped multiplayer maps from Battlefield 3: Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm. It also adds five new weapons and 10 additional assignments.
EA hasn’t announced how long this promotion will last, but it’s launched promos like it before. Last month the Free Stand DLC (also for Battlefield 4) was made zero-cost, but just for one week. We expect Second Assault will only remain free for this period of time as well.
