    Ah, the NFL...

I've been a Niners fan since I was a kid, thanks to my uncle's influence. They're a team who has enjoyed many legendary players and traditions - Montana, Rice, Young, etc. Bill Walsh and the West Coast offense, five Superbowl championships, etc.

They made a brief spark again back in '12/'13, but after that horrendous Superbowl loss to the Ravens, it's been downhill ever since. The Niners had never not won a SB before that game.

Oh well, at least they'll get a good draft pick this year.

OMG - That game was nerve wracking. I thought I was going to throw up, when the Cowboys tied.
Next up for the Packers - Atlanta.

That was most definitely one of the best games I've ever seen in the NFL. Just good ol' football. Not overridden with penalties or controversy. Very refreshing.

I'm rooting for the Pack on this one, even though I like the Falcons!

Right? I'm soooo pissed. I hate the Patriots. But I'm even more pissed that the Falcon's choked away a 25 point lead! How? Why? Did the Pats cheat again!?!?!? They must have. When will they stop cheating?

Tired Atlanta defense. Saw it after half time.
It's going to suck, having Brady crammed down our throats for the next year

OMG that was exactly my take! They got worn out. It was totally obvious when you see their tackles, sack attempts, int attempts, etc. in the first half compared to the second half. I don't know if it was nerves, conditioning or what, but they should have continued destroying the Pats. losing a 25 point lead in a Superbowl of all games is beyond embarrassing.

And yes, I do not look forward to having Tom Brady and Jizzelle shoved down our throats all year.

Why couldn't the Falcons coach just buy some NY Giants stickers and slap them on his player's helmets? We'd be having a very different and vastly more delightful discussion right now.

I think it was that mixed with a psychological aspect too. They thought they had the game won up by 25 and because they were so tired they thought they could let up a bit. And then it was an avalanche with them losing their edge and New England running on momentum. Too bad. Didn't want to see them win again.

Looks like they are going to have to put Valium in the water supply here - Brees is going to be out for six weeks :( Torn ligament on his throwing hand. Surgery today. I've been dreading this day.

What a Saturday! First the Rise of Skywalker. Then dinner at a sports tavern with the Bills playing the Texans. What an uproar when the score tied 19 to 19 only for the Bills to lose in overtime. Shit, I couldn't even finish my food. Had to box it and take it home, Lol. Looking forward to next year.

That was the only matchup that I was completely corn-flaked about on who I thought might win.

    1. I knew the Seahawks would beat the Eagles.
    2. I was 100% wrong about Vikings vs. Saints (I did not see that coming at all)
    3. I knew that the Patriots were in a slump and were a paper tiger this season. The Titans smelled blood in the water.
    4. But that Bills vs. Texans game had me baffled. Both teams lost to teams that they should have beaten, and won against teams that I thought they should have lost to. Both are good teams, but they were also very unpredictable.

We'll see what happens. The Bills next game will be against the Kansas City Chiefs. It's been an exciting ride this season! Win or lose we love our team but winning this season has been the best.

Since the Packers gave Tom Brady another Super Bowl, I will be rooting for the Bills.

Say what? What do the Bills have to do with the Packers/Bucs game? The Bills still have to get past KC first.... I am so confused. Lol

Now I will root for my coworkers team to win.

    Make sense now?
