Slow episode, and while Madison's brief victory against the Vultures was good, and the scene at the race track was tense, I hated the ending. I'm giving this episode a 3.

^Aw =\ this was my favorite episode of the season. I loved the Naomi centric of it. Too bad she’s the villain but I didn’t see that coming so I’m loving it. And now her love John is thrust into this mess!

Is Naomi the head Vulture, or did she, at a later time, sell out Madison's group?

Yeah, FTWD doesn't bring in the ratings, but it's superior to TWD.

Totally confused, as I suppose they want me to be.

I have no idea what's going on and who the good guys are.

I think in an oversimplified nutshell we have:

Madison's group as the quasi good guys who want revenge [with Strand being a fair weather good guy]
The Vultures as the bad guys
Naomi as a coward who joined the bad guys at some point after the "before scenes"
Morgan as a well intentioned oaf who messes things up
John Dorie trying to mutter through this world the best that he can, without much violence
    Al as the taxi. :p

I thought she was because of her arrival at the end and Mel seemingly answering to her. Maybe not, either way she as a Vulture shocked me! Hope we find out more about it but what Neuro makes sense too!

    Lmao @ Morgan. Accurate.

I'm also on the fence if John Dorie is dead. It'll be a shame if he is

This season's timeline (not including vibrant color flashbacks) is 2-3 days?

I'd hate for John to be dead too, but he's clearly too good for this world, so if that bullet doesn't kill him, the discovery that Naomi might not be the woman he hoped she was probably will kill him.

I'll have to watch again but I didn't get the sense that they were answering to Naomi. The lower level guy who had his finger shot off by John was the one who made the call not to tell Naomi about this new predicament. Mel asked him "you didn't tell her?" and the guys said "nuh uh". So a lower level subordinate wouldn't make the call himself not to tell their leader, without consulting Mel first.

I think he just didn't tell Naomi cause they werent completely sure where her loyalties lied yet.

John looks to be shot more in the side then the chest. I say he's down but not out... yet

Al is also bringing out her innner Jake Gyllenhaal from Nightcrawler. It looked like she was filming the confrontation between the two groups at the race track. That's pretty cold and crazy.

What concerns me the most is what the showrunners said, "No John Dorie is not dead. At least not there in that moment."

I don't see it as cold or crazy that Al is filming the confrontation. I suspect that it is the only way she can gain distance between herself and the people around her.

She reminds me of Carol and Morgan, when they reached the point where they had seen or done too much and just needed distance or to be alone, but she uses her camera to create that.

Remember the tapes that she was so concerned about when Nick opened the storage area in the SWAT truck?? I suspect that they explain a lot about why she is as closed off as she is.

I think that is a sad attempt at trolling and keeping a secret of him alive
