If you have any simple question about any aspect of multiplayer, you can ask away here if you don't want to create a thread. Hopefully someone will be able to provide the answer.

And the first question. Before I burn away my hard earned points, does Scavenger replenish explosives of any kind?

How does the COM SAT work. I can't tell if it's actually doing what it's suppose to. No radar indication, no dots popping up, and Wire Tap doesn't seem to help either.

1 sat com = dots for enemy's in line of sight of you and allies
2 sat coms = uav style
3 sat coms = faster uav
    4 sat coms = advance
at least that has been told

Can you have two throwing knives?
Does throwing knife 'fly' well? (with and without strong arm)
Does scavenger replenish your throwing knives?
Is it fast or slow to throw the knife? Do you need a perk to make it useful?

I love these lethals in CoD games, so I wanna know more about them. If someone can answer to (some of) my questions, I would be very grateful.

    Don't believe it does.

I guess it's because Recon's in the game, but without the Pro effect, it's pretty mediocre. Even when choosing one point to use.

And about SatComs, are your own destroyed when you die? Sometimes it seems like they go away extremely fast. Half the time, it's like they do absolutely nothing for you or the team.

What does it mean to humiliate an enemy? I got one of those special blue briefcases with those orders, but did not know what it meant.

To humiliate an enemy and complete the field order, you have to T-bag the next enemy you kill, by crouching over their corpse a few times rapidly.

I thought humiliating the enemy might be knifing someone, like in Wager Matches/Party Games, but I was wrong. Completing this field order, is the only time I've ever T-bagged someone. I felt so juvenile...

Augh. And here I thought it was bad when I completed a field order for Halo jumping. Thanks for the answer.

I haven't unlocked the throwing knife yet but when I was the Juggernaut Maniac I killed someone with the throwing knife and Scavenger replenished it so I assume it's the same normally.

Just crouching over the enemy is enough I believe, you don't have to actually T-bag them properly.

Actually, all you do is go prone with your face in their corpse's crotch.......

Here's my question: why in the hell do you have to rank each squad mate up individually in order to unlock items? I think the player should still rank up normally (which unlocks the items and makes them available to purchase with squad points). It's confusing to play with a different squad mate and see they're a Specialist when you've been playing with a different squad mate who is a Master Sergeant.

    I think it's like a game within a game.

For simply multiplayer, all you really need is one Squad member and their respective 6 classes - which is perfectly fine the way they've implemented.

To make the squads a viable mode, I think the reason for having to rank other squad members up is that if you rank only one up but have everything unlocked for your whole squad, there won't be any longevity to the mode.

If you spend time unlocking and honing each member of your squad it makes squads a longer mode and it will take time to develop a world-beating squad.

    I think?

I can understand it, but I doubt I'll play squads. I only used squads to earn early squad points, learn the maps and familiarise myself with the game.

Now that I'm comfortable palying Ghosts I doubt I'll be using the squads mode - unless it takes off.

Yeah, but unfortunately the Squads ranking/unlocking system rolls-over into MP..... which I'm not digging that system at all. I would prefer the player ranks up, making the various items available for any squadmember to purchase using the squad points. However, I'm not saying that once a squad member purchases something it should be purchased across the squad...... I'm just saying the unlocking (availability to purchase) should be across the board.

I was just about to ask this very question. So, does the squad ranking/leveling roll-over against bots as well? Or are they totally seperate? Specifically, will it be possible to level squads against bots only and then jump into multi-player? I hope not. Seems cheap squad points to me.

Yes, this is exactly what I did. Played a shed load of squads and unlocked a few bits.

The only thing is - XP and Squad points are much harder and slower to earn. You are limited to 1500 xp a match, which is nothing in terms of ranking up.. Ranking up in multiplayer is slow, so in squads you can imagine just how slow it is.

It's cheap points, but it takes a hell of a lot of time.

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation. The squad thing had me buffaloed.
