part 2 of 2 Yea! Baby bump! You knew you couldn't resist holding it, didn't you? Didn't you? Congratulations, on child #2, btw! I didn't think the dress was so bad overall, but it made her look like she had a big roll on her little stomach. Who wants that look? If you can believe it Sigourney Weaver is She still looks beautiful and elegant in a Dior gown that just matches her. This is one of those pics you'd swear was a bad photoshop. It's not. Bad, Lea, Bad! This dress was kind of an optical illusion in that Idina Menzel seemed to be standing *behind* her dress. It's probably because of the oversized bow, but was kind of bizarre. What was Kelly Ripa doing at the Oscars? Go Home, Kelly. This didn't work either. It seemed like a jumble of pants, a bathrobe and an evening gown. "Design elements" are one thing. Actually *choosing* something and going with it is usually better than throwing in everything but the kitchen sink. I liked this gown, its dressy enough for the Oscars, but still seems to say "California" and not taking yourself too seriously.
I swear her nails get more and more ridiculous Next week...... Her dress reminded me of those vintage chenille bedspreads from the 60's/70's But the bedspreads are prettier
Hee hee, well they aren't ALL glamorous! I kind of like the Chinese thing of keeping a long pinky nail to show you aren't a laborer. At least there's a REASON for doing something silly. Hers just look silly. And I agree on the bedspreads!
do you mean you never held your belly at all? Wow! I rubbed it all the time when I was daydreaming, and just whenever. I thought everyone did. Is that really odd?
Damn it. I told myself "It's not worth it, Jama. You don't have to click on that thread. You don't have to see what's going on.You can leave it alone. You don't have to be involved in every discussion. You can keep your opinions to yourself." But nope....
The Oscars were actually pretty boring as far as outlandish fashion goes. Oh, well, there'll be more interesting awards shows in the future.
Hee hee, well, we need to wait for the Grammy's or Latin Music Awards or something, they seem to bring out the adventure in people.
It's true, though! Most people want to look presentable at the Academy Awards, and they don't invite people like Kim Kardashian -- that makes for a tame "fashion" show.
Just one here. This is a gown Maya Hawke wore to a film festival. I can't believe how *organic* it looks with the mermaid tapering gown and increasing crystal size. Way to go, Maya!
