I felt so bad for the Queen. A modern day Victoria and Albert love story. I think his whole family will feel his absence deeply. Such an interesting and amazing man, RIP.

Yeah, it wouldn't really surprise me if she passed away in the next year. I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

 

Bernie Madoff has died in prison. He was the author of the largest Ponzi scheme in history, totaling over 65 billion dollars. He would get people get people to invest with an apparent high rate of return and use the next investor to pay the prior investor while all the while he secretly Madoff with their money. He was 82 years old.

"The death was announced by the Bureau of Prisons.

Mr Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in 2009 after he admitted he had defrauded investors through a Ponzi scheme, which paid out using their money rather than any profits.

My question would be, "why would anyone WANT to clean their earwax?" I can see wanting to *remove* earwax, but *cleaning* it? Why bother?

 

Me thinks they meant clean out but can ear wax really cause memory loss as they claim?

 

Nah, of course not. LOL, I'm sure they could make a case for it though. Something along the lines of earwax causing decreased hearing, and with decreased sensory input especially in the elderly comes decreased attention and memory. So... earwax causes memory loss, as does, well, nighttime.

LOL, I can remember my mother later in life would discretely remove her hearing aids when my father was bellowing about something or other. I wonder how many times she said, "yes, dear" without having a clue what he was actually saying.
