carl and beth isn't happening. Period. The age difference is too big. They are too different from each other. And they didn't interact in season 4 at all.

1) no. The two are unrelated. That's like saying, "if Mazda releases a miata with a twin-turbo v8, the steelers will win the superbowl." In fact, I'd say carl and beth not happening makes Carlentine more likely, not less.

They might very well have a strong bond. I'd say it's likely they'll continue to be friends. But I don't see (or want to see, due to the knowledge that regardless of Beth's age, EK is twenty something) the two being in a relationship.
