Indeed, there are also a lot of different things one can create in the motion picture industry, and if you feel connected, there are almost an endlessness of carrier possibilities in that industry. What else do you do and enjoy in life?

Hehe I am very passionate about the things I love and science is definitely one of them :) Nice, I am glad too hear, the science of medicine, as all science, needs more improvement and development. I am self taught so I don't know any musical notes nor time signatures I actually just play for my own amusement but I have probably been playing for 4-5 years. I'll just make a quick list and same question right back to you! Miles Davis, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Tool, A Perfect Circle, MF-DOOM, J Dilla, Blue Lotus, Radiohead, Portishead. But for all my life jazz has been my biggest love.

Hehe I would submit that he was a very wise man. Ah yes. Back in my younger days, I am still pretty young lol, I had very little to no confidence whatsoever, especially regarding girls. I was challenged by a former friend of mine, to do exactly what your cousin dared you too do, namely interact with a complete stranger with the goal of gaining a number, and that little interaction started a road for me as a person (lol this sounds so deep) and the barrier which had previous basically made me socially awkward actually turned me into a very social guy, also when I learned that fellow human beings are not only attracted to each other based on looks and appearance but also intelligence and knowledge, that gave me a lot of confidence in my self as well. So yeah failure leads to improvement.

This might not come as a surprise, but at the exact date that you land in Denmark, is the date I begin my bachelor. I am going to be a theoretical particle physicist, and hopefully contribute to the human knowledge on our frontier of discovery. I also looked immensly hard after my carrier and eventuelly found out that science, which was completely unexpected for me at the time, is the place for me to be.
I also play a lot of music, especially jazz on my piano. :p

Again very wise words, reminds me of a quote from Niels Bohr: "An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." Failure is the prerequisite for progress and learning. Wow, exiting! You've been a bit around trying different aspects inside the domain of film then. So if I read you correctly, the film industry is definitely your place to be but you're unsure of the exact path. Therefore traveling provides new experience, and of course tons of fun, and perhaps even provide new ideas for which kind of work.

At the moment I work a lot at a institution for physically and mentally disabled people. My government provides this institution and even a so called "job", along different activities, they can do and they actually earn money, even though many of them can't even grasp the very concept of currency. I really enjoy this job a lot and very quickly I developed a bond for the people I take care off. It's a very emotional job.

Interesting. May I ask what aspect of film, you know, acting or perhaps writing, or maybe something complete different? Wow, those are all interesting places to live for some time, I hope Denmark can live up to the task and not disappoint you. :p

Indeed that is very true. I meant not to say that science exclusively bestows this trait but that it is an intrinsic value of science. Again I agree.
Fear is the basis for irrational thinking and irrational action, and we all innately have it. If I try to put myself in their situation I understand the reaction.

As you say, If I have believed something to be absolutely true my hole life, maybe even donated much time and effort in spreading the word and helping it's existence, if some smart-ass intellectual comes and say: "Here is the evidence. Either you're an idiot or not", I can understand their reaction, even though it is completely irrational. I think it might also be a matter of choice of words and strategy when explaining facts to people who have fear and are emotional invested in a fallacy.

In my opinion that is one of the many beautiful things about the rational approach of science.

"The best state for a scientist to be in is either wrong or confused." - Lawrence Krauss.
"An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." - Niels Bohr.

Peoples beliefs should always conform with evidence of reality, and not what "makes sense" or what "feels right". Always being open to new possibilities, never being 100% certain of your own beliefs and ideas and willing to change your mind in front of evidence is a valuable trait.

How come you chose Denmark btw? And is doing school work just an interest or do you perhaps hold a degree in the field?
Haha I know, I don't feel that bad. But when I genuinely enjoy something I always want to support it, regardless if it's a big or small company behind, but since it don't air here I do not have much choice. Yes! haha I hate dubbing as well, so annoying. And you're completely right.

Well I am sorry to hear that. With our growing knowledge of neuroscience, no evidence points towards cartesianism, but rather to the contrary. But I see that as a general problem that people are rather emotional invested when viewing and drawing conclusions from reality. They would rather seek the comforting conclusions than the scientific facts which may not be comforting at all, and I believe that may be one of the reasons why people disregard ideas in light of evidence.

Hehe Snoghøj is extremely small and Fredericia is just small. It is really going to be a change, it sounds good to just jump out into it and see what happens! Then you're already doing progress! Very common: Tak (Thanks), Hej (Hello), Farvel (Goodbye), God dag (Good day), God nat (Good night). :)

I am very sorry to say that I download TWD illegaly as TWD is not being aired in Denmark and it is ridicously hard to subscribe to amc or something like that as I live in Europe and that's apparently a no go.

I guess the reasoning behind paying privately for alternative medicine or treatment might be because there is no evidence for it, the scientific validation is either unproved or disproved, might not be the reason tho.
Sounds real good. A lot of creative activities is always a good environment to be in. Where is the school then?
Yes Denmark is a very small country, around thirteen times more people in France than Denmark so it's a big difference.

That depends on your level of exposure. My sister have a boyfriend from Afghanistan and he has lived here for two years with medium level of exposure. He has improved his understanding of the language so that we can speak Danish to him with no problems. Now, his problem lies in the articulation, that is, he can't speak it. He knows the words but they won't come out.
If your exposure of Danish is high and of course forces you to answer and start with primitive conversations your progress would be equivalent to the velocity of photons haha
