There was supposed to be a Toronto date for Riot Fest but it got cancelled a few days before the Misfits reunion was announced. So who knows? They probably would have played here. Ahhhhh! :'( I considered getting tickets for the Chicago dates, but with the airfare, hotel, etc., I just can't afford it right now. Booo...

Once, many years ago, I was drunk at a bar in Toronto and spotted Jonathan Torrens (J-Roc) sitting at a booth that was screaming distance from me. So naturally I was excited about it, and was trying to nonchalantly inform my friends, but I couldn't remember his real name or his TPB character's name, so I had to refer to him as "Jonovision," which was the name of a defunct cheesy talk show geared toward teenagers that had aired on the CBC, of which he had been the host. So I was drunkenly and loudly slurring, "Hey, guysssss! It's f*cking Jonovision over there!" and my friends were like, "Who?" and he totally heard us but made a point of ignoring it. It was hilarious and awkward. Good times. :)

Glad you're liking the Christmas thread. There are only a small handful of people who like to play with me in the music forum. ;)
