He portrayed Shane incredibly, don't get why anyone would say he was "the worst". :zombies_confused:

I liked Merle a lot and he went out like a hero. Then Andrea died and I'm like what the hell all my favourites are dying (example of the comic-show changes that wasn't good). Then T-Dog. Can't believe i forgot to mention him. As much as I miss the Governor, I think it was time for him to go and I loved how it was done so he's not as high on my list as Shane, Andrea, Merle and T-Dog.

Missing Lori and Dale as characters.
Well, Rick for sure. I didn't think this season would remind me much of the earlier seasons, but Carol and Morgan (whose actors are probably two of the most solid on the show right now) did, especially in their fight over the Wolf Morgan has locked up, reminded me of the fight Rick had with Shane in 18 Miles Out when Rick was trying to protect Randall. I think Rick and Carol are the most interesting characters this season and the Morgan story is probably the best writing I've seen so far(albeit executed in a cheesy way).

There's so many characters I miss that are no longer with us, but I find myself missing Shane - and Andrea in close second - the most. They were just amazing characters and I think their time was too short on the show. Sure, Shane died in the comics, but there are times when I seriously wonder why just because the comics "end" that way, why does the show have to follow along. The show has made a lot of changes to the comics, like Dale died before his comic counterpart.

Say, this may seem kinda random, but I just wanted to ask; which TWDcharacters do you miss most? I know you miss Shane but who else do you miss?

Yep, they definitely interacted way more realistically. Now everybody whisper-talks like in a soap opera in pretty much the same tone.

I think so too. The casts in Season 1-3 were much better than vs now. They made a big mistake killing off all the interesting characters though. They were so real.

I've been rewatching the first two seasons. S3 is still on hold. In seasons 1 and 2 (3 because of Andrea, Merle, and the Governor), the viewpoints between the group, Rick, and Dale vs. Shane and Andrea made the storytelling interesting and realistic. The show misses that realistic element. They also didn't play a lot of music in the episodes which gave the show a creepy factor. Now a days they play music in every scene like one of those crappy detective dramas. The dialogue was spoken much more realistically, and even if you didn't like a character(e.g. Lori), you have to admit they had depth. Fast forward seasons 1-4.5 to now, they are missing out on the factors that made the show realistic.

Just proves that the worst thing this show has ever done is firing Darabont.

      Yooo man what's up?
      Also-

Season 6 is boring and lacking in the realistic storytelling season 1, 2, and 3 did. I could watch those over more than once, but I can't do that with season 4.5-10 (second half), 5, or 6. The show is seriously lacking in the realistic elements and Carol and Rick are acting just like Shane did. Nothing is happening.

I am also wondering how the heck they are going to execute the Carl-Jessie moment as I believe current FCC t.v. standards say that killing a child in a gruesome way (such as the up close shot of Otis's death) cannot be shown in the "same frame" onscreen. So even that won't be as exciting as in the comics. :P

      Hey man what's up?

You disappointed to with the character "development" in the walking dead?

I've been staying off the boards. The show has been boring and the character development ain't there anymore. There is no one exciting and Rick is acting just like Shane did in season 2. Of course no one on this board is going to turn on Rick though.
