Thank you. I know it sounds silly, but I wanted to post this meme I found, and I couldn't figure it out.

I'm working on my fic "The Right Choice"...I'm excited because I'm writing characters that I hadn't before: Daryl, Hershel, T-Dog, Dale, Lori, Carl...they show up in my fics, but briefly. I gave them interaction with Shane--and because Shane and Daryl don't like each other, I made sure that was clear in my story. There's tension as Daryl becomes Rick's second in command.

Oh..and you're BUSTED!!! I saw your post in the thread about Daryl and Dwight! So you're watching Season 7?! Yessss!!!

Thanks for the feedback! I am planning with later installments to slow way down and take a more character driven approach. Ronin will be nerfed slightly, and I want to have the group make more mistakes, since I agree, they are too good at fighting at the moment. I also want to take a breather from human enemies, minus the occasional raider or two, and rely mostly on driving character arcs forward, rather than just action.
I plan on putting a TON of thought and effort into Season 4, and I hope you and the others enjoy it.

I really enjoy your input with my work, and I appreciate it immensely. Since you are a long time writer, what changes/bad habits/niggling issues would you recommend I fix with my story? I want it to be grounded with minor deviation, and I cannot be perfect (No one is), but improvement is always something I strive for.

Raps, I hear you that Season 6 was a disappointment for you. I actually preferred 6B over 6A with the threat of Negan and the Saviors hanging over them.

I wonder if Negan will do that: make Daryl become a Savior. I think the next episode will focus on Daryl, Dwight, Negan and the Saviors.

Yes, Caryl will definitely be official, but I agree about not wanting to wait for the last season to see it. They've been together for awhile now, their rapport and everything.

I remember that...that was the same episode Noah was killed, right? He went shooting everywhere and wrecked the whole supply run--and got himself killed. So messed up. That's what he gets for trying to Ramboify himself.

Rapscallion - that's excellent advice. Capturing their voices is essential--but as you said to not be afraid and let the characters do what they do--what I want to have in my story--just let it happen.

I'm hoping that Daryl won't be stagnant in Season 7. I know you said you weren't going to watch, but I'm thinking...it would be great if he turned back to the Daryl you like best: independent-badass-hunter-redneck-in-love-with-Carol. My boyfriend said he thinks Daryl and Carol will eventually end up together...maybe by the end of the series. That's a long time to wait. Exactly--you gotta write the characters as you see them and as you appreciate them. That's the awesomeness of fanfic!

That's true about Glenn...didn't he do the supply run with Nicholas, Michonne, David (and someone else)? And that's when Nicholas got killed.

Excellent point about Abraham. You'd think Rick would've consulted someone with army experience.

Rapscallion - you're welcome. I really meant what I said though. It was well-written, and I agree with writing it in the way you did. It gave me the idea of what was happening, and the rest I could imagine for myself. I also like that it was the end result or rather, beginning, for Daryl and Carol to become together again. It wasn't just sex for sex sake (not that there's anything wrong with that either.)

I think I'm on Chapter 10 or 11 in "To Live Again". I have to catch up, but I'll keep that in mind for Chapter 21. It sounds like you have everything planned out for "No Secrets Between Us." That's very good!

I'm writing my Shane/Daryl scene now...where Daryl goes off on Shane. I'm trying to hear Reedus' voice as Daryl, and think on how he talks, his approach. He's very no nonsense and honest, and to the point. I really hope I give him justice.

Oh okay. So then I won't be spoiled by anything. You wrote the love-making scene beautiful. You and my other friend who writes fanfiction write sex scenes skillfully and beautifully. I stumble with those types of scenes because I rarely write them.

Thank you. I have Rick mention to Shane that Dale told him about it. Add to how Shane threw a wrench at Rick when they were fighting--Rick feels Shane is dangerous. I agree that Dale telling Rick about the gun thing would further divide Dale and Andrea. I had an idea to have Andrea leave Dale a note when she leaves and he finds it.

LOL! That would be so funny if T-Dog teamed up with them. I felt bad for how they left his character out in Season 2. I can picture Shane going " 'M'ask you somethin'...you feelin' left out...join Andrea an' me as we mutiny against The Almighty Rick!" :zombies_blush: Not in those words exactly, but something like that.

Raps...I meant to mention in my note to you. Instead of Andrea telling Rick about Shane's idea of taking over the farm...Dale told Rick about the time Shane raised a gun to him (when Rick's back was turned.)

Rappy...I need your help...you're a Daryl Dixon fan and I like how you write him. You get his dialogue and voice down perfectly. I want to know if you can give me some suggestions to keep in mind as to how to write Daryl accurately. I'm writing a new TWD fic (my first multi-chaptered one) and Daryl is in it...I gave him a scene with him and Shane, so I'm trying to portray him as accurately as possible. Suggestions, por favor? Thank you! :-)

Raps, it was absolutely HORRIFYING. I will never get those two scenes out of my head ever. I honestly should have started watching on episode 2.
