I loved on TDD when Alanna talked about running to save Tobin while pregnant and being psyched to tell her daughter someday, "See that? There you are! You were in 'The Walking Dead'!" (And really, Alanna--you'll get bumped off soon enough, I'm sure. It's not like a leading role on a popular sitcom. Just bring Marlowe to the set and let her play with the red Solo cups.)

 

I just recently started reading the comics. I started at 100 because of this story arc. I'm up to 109 anyway. I see now how the T.V. show is different skipping around the story etc. The bullet making run came after Glenn's death.

Do you think they'll ram and damage the gate like in the comics? And this story arc I now u understand how Gimple could have at least another 2 1/2 seasons just on Negan.

 

I hear ya, sweetie. It's interesting: Tara has gone from being bluff and bravado-filled, to penitent, to gutsy and optimistic, to sad and reflective (in this last episode). I think it would be fascinating to watch her be vengeful: like, full-on "I have exactly zero ****s to give about anything other than taking out the SOB's who killed my girlfriend." If Glenn gets Lucilled, that's gonna double.

 

[MENTION=43772]jojo[/MENTION] Actually on 98 Eugene and Abe are going to the place where he can make ammo. They are interrupted, and only after Glenn's death he goes there, but he did try once before.

 

Abraham I can still see dying somewhere soonish. Possibly Rosita picks up Michonne charcterstics afterwards. Like coming on to Heath when he's on watch. It would be odd but I can see her character personality change after Abraham dumped her.

 

I find out Tara survives on the same day the NCAA men's basketball tournament starts. (Women tip off on Saturday.) Such days are the stuff of ecstasy.

 

I don't follow basketball that much. I'm a football/baseball girl. But I picked the Midwest 1 seed, which is UVA, in my work pool. Evidently that's really good and I have angered a few diehard fans at the bar. Go me, fingers cro$$ed!

 

I'm excited to see Rosita become an actual character like they started hinting at during the first half.

 

Yeah, me too! I need 14 and 15 now because they seem to have lots of Rosita on it. As long as she doesn't die at the end of 15 of course.

 

She's a Scientologist. They claim that they have super powers so I'm pretty sure she can handle a baby and a career.

 

Harlan will most likely be the doctor for both the Hilltop and Alexandria.

 

I for one feel like they really messed up by replacing Abraham with Denise. I mean think about how crazy it would have been if Tara took Holly's death in Season 7 and that scene from the comic where Negan takes the bag off Holly's (or Tara's) head and she bites Denise. Given the fact that Tara and Denise are together in the show, imagine one as a walker biting the other.

 

Ooops! And there goes the one and only (!) person from Alexandria I liked.

Tbh I'm a little mad with AMC/the show. Denise was a pretty good character and she deserved better. Fun fact: I was (kind of) right! As soon as someone says "We'll talk about later" (in that case "We'll talk about it when your back") someone is doomed. But I thought it would be Tara.

 

I am a massive Aaron fan (mostly because he's beautiful), and I think that with some attention, Heath could grow on me. But yes, they've killed off the best Alexandria had to offer, and I'm p'd off! Poor Tara, she's cursed to have women who love her die in horrible ways!

I really do like her, and certainly love that Tara was being loved. (I hope they get to have at least one scene before the death, so maybe Denise gets the chance to say it back.) But [MENTION=47172]ltomlinson31[/MENTION] laid out the reasons for this selection in pretty compelling fashion. I would have preferred she make it to S-7 and get bit the same way, with Tara taking Heath's role in that scene. But at the end of it all (and I shall miss you, fellow pop-drinking Ohioan!), my primary reaction is still relief that Tara lives.

 

I hope that they do too, but I can't help but think that they'll just have Denise and Daryl having a touching last moment, with her telling him who it was he reminds her of, then she'll ask him to tell Tara she loves her, but she'll die midway through the sentence and we'll all weep and Daryl will pull his bizarre crying face.

 

I now picture Daryls season 3 cryface saying "But you were supposed to die when Tara got Hollys Death :'( "

 

I can tell from your avatar you love you some Norman, and I like both NR and Daryl but c'mon--can we not have everything be about him right now?
