I know right. If I had been a writer on this show, I would've had Aaron heavily featured in this episode.

 

I hope that he goes after Carol, maybe he does and on the road he encounters Dwight

 

It's like they're just letting him sit in the background, as one of the few ASZ characters that already had skill and experience before our gang arrived on the scene, not to mention the connection he's already built up with Daryl, he's a good character begging to be used.
More so than Tobin for instance.

I agree. Fair enough once the Saviours have been defeated and the group have had time to rebuild/establish a new community but not just as the group stand to face their biggest threat yet. She cares about this group. She came back for them after being exiled. She saved them from the Termites and protected them from The Wolves. It makes no sense for her to leave them now when they need her most.

 

Morgan calling Carol a murderer on a daily basis, along with the confrontation with Paula; a woman who easily could've been her, has really shaken up Carol.

 

Don't forget that Carol tried to leave twice before.

 

Re-watch the first two episodes of Season 5.

 

Rewatch the first two episodes and pay very close attention to Carol's conversations - Tyreese and Daryl in particular.

In fact, watching the sixth episode (Consumed) would also help.

 

I remember for sure her trying to leave when her and Daryl saw the white cross car pass by

 

Daryl is going after Dwight, then he will hook up with his wife. Dwight stole him the crossbow, the vest, and the bike but Daryl will steal his wife.

 

I'd love to see that
