If it is a cliffhanger then Gimple better be fired or have a really REALLY good explanation on Talking Dead.

There isn't any; although, I'm still holding out hope they didn't. It's thee iconic scene from the comic books, which they should do straight up. No doubt they felt a need to change it to confound expectations, but doing it straight up, at this point, would have been unexpected.

 

Im holding out hope that in the last 10 seconds they show who it is. Thats it. Not to much to ask is it?

 

For what it's worth, I will be shocked if they do this cliffhanger. The rumors of it seem more likely to be the psych out.

A cliffhanger would:

- Be panned even by critics as too much cheap manipulation

- Anger and even alienate fans

- Ruin the big reveal, because it'll be spoiled, and/or people will care less after months of discussion full of irritation

They screwed up the Glenn Dumpster arc, so they aren't above being stupid, but I'll be shocked if there aren't enough voices there reminding them of how poorly that worked out.

They have plenty of other things to keep us hanging and wondering about, so it's not necessary to tick us all off.

I am really hoping the diapers aren't for the sh*^ that will explode in my pants with anger if they screw this up. If they don't show me whom gets Lucille'd I'll sh+* my pants out of stupidity and anger I will feel.
I already feel this season has strung me out more than a crack fiend. Or maybe it's starting to make me ask: does Gimple get pleasure out of being the biggest Dbag troll? Either way... See... I'm already mad thinking about the possibility that'll they will screw this up.
