I thought it was a nice touch to add that imagery of them all at a banquet style dinner together. Happy. Glenn with his son on his lap, seated by Abe.

Episode redeemed some of the cheesy mistakes in S6, IMO.

Was intense, drama filled and emotional and they didn't cheap out on killing a major character that's been here since S1.

Totally agree. That was the scene that really broke me down.

I don't know if Negan said that line about how they thought they'd all be sitting down together for Sunday dinner in the comics, but I thought the writers were making a tongue in cheek reference to the way True Blood ended, which save for a few characters was everyone sitting down together to a big meal four years in the future.

Actually, I would have loved to see just that. It was a beautiful heartbreaking image.

It was a good scene but I can't see any reason why Maggie wouldn't imagine her father and sister there. They absolutely should have been there. As a matter of fact, I would have saved the dinner scene and used it at another time to imply that Hershel was trying to ease his daughter's pain by showing her that Glenn was safe in heaven with him.

In any event, it just seemed odd that Hershel and Beth were not at the table.

But this wasn't Maggie's hallucination, it was Rick

i think you fail to understand that the "daydream" was Rick's and involved what if Negan had not killed Abraham and Glenn

Rick was imagining life in Alexandria with Glenn and Abraham and current members of the group, i.e., Herschel and Beth don't count because they died on the way to Alexandria

Thank you very much. I didn't realize it was Rick's.

Oh okay. I was thinking it was more of a vision of Glenn in the hereafter. I didn't realize that it was an exact place.
Thank you. I don't know why I was so lost watching this episode. I usually pay better attention.

"Our Town." The simple casual moments of our lives that are eternal joys.

This makes me cry, but I still love to see it.
