But, after 6 seasons of this show and countless spoilers all over the place I find it hard to believe that people had no idea that Glenn died in the comics. While I agree that the sentiment is silly, part of that argument makes at least a little sense.

I still find it completely senseless that Walking Dead can show all of the outstandingly graphic shit that it has, from extreme gore to attempted rape and cannibalism (not that I care, but it's some pretty intense shit), but at the end of the day Rick and Negan can't say f*ck and they have to show all of their female characters from the neck up when they get naked. Yeah, Heaven forbid someone sees those last two things as opposed to the former.

I've never cared about the gore/ultra-violence and think all of the complaints about it, especially this season, are silly, but when it comes to censorship, the standard for violence and the standards for sex and, at this point, meaningless four letter words, has always just seemed so ass-backwards to me.

I think just complaining about the gore by itself is rather silly when coming into a zombie show rated TV-MA. His statement about kids being able to see it makes it seem like his complaint was borne out of the bat scene (which I do think is a silly complaint) and not out of the double standard. Might've misread it, but that's just what I gleaned from it.

 

I agree, and have always thought the same...except unlike the person complaining, i would like to keep the gore and see more genitalia if possible.

I understood what they were trying to say, but I was poking fun at it because first they mention that kids watch it and then they say "why is it ok to see this gore but not any genitalia whatsoever?" Their wording made it sound like they wanted their kids to see more genitalia.

 

I have been told on more than one occasion that ****-rag is a bit over the line.
