they had less than a full day's notice. I think something bigger will probably be coming. I would rather they take their time with it, rather than rush to put it in. My guess is that a larger tribute will occur in the episode where

Yeah. With a days notice I was hoping for a “dedication to Scott Wilson” and they paid off. WINNER

 

I was actually hoping to see some discussion on Talking Dead, but I guess they are taping those ahead of time now.

 

They tweeted a response and did say the show was prerecorded

I guarantee that Talking Dead will do something next week. Pretty sure that last night's episode was recorded before Scott passed. I'm surprised they were able to get that dedication in at the end of the premiere given how quickly everything happened.

Scott had been off the show for going on five years, and he still was one of the most beloved actors we'd ever had on the show. The Walking Dead tends to treat their alumni very well.

 

The Talking Dead put out a statement that the segment last night was taped a week ago after the premiere screening. There will definitely be something done next week. I'm sure of it.

 

Looks like they are still pre recording talking dead, I assume because of the whole Hardwick thing.

I'm sure he will start off next weeks show talking about his passing and he will be a topic of conversation throughout the show.

Hardwick also clarified that there will be no mention of Wilson’s passing on tonight’s episode of Talking Dead because the episode was pretaped.

“It’s important to me to let you know that we pretaped the first episode of Talking Dead last week when the cast members were in LA for the WD premiere screening so please know that is the only reason why we don’t pay our respects to him in our show tomorrow.”
