It's not really that most people are on next gen now. It's a combination of CoD just sucking these days (driving people away) and that the last gen ports are so bad in quality and content. Same exact thing as AW, last gen was HORRIBLE. And they shouldn't of even made a last gen port for BO3. Waste of resources.

I really enjoy it and I find myself playing it almost everyday. I bought Fallout 4 recently, and when I get on my XboxOne, I prefer to play CoD over my new game.

 

It definitely cannot be considered a good game. No real innovation or updates (Specialists are like the only thing), solid additions or returns, shit maps, shit killstreaks, and too much gayness from the aforementioned Specialist. Ripper is lame as **** (I've been knifed through my gayravity spikes a few times) and using the HIVE essentially says you are a piece of no-skilled, dickless, faggotry, waste of a life shit. It's a better system than the one and done trash Exo abilities in AW, but the items are just too effective to be automatic earnings. The Annihilator is so ****ed up (I use it), makes sniper rifles and shotguns useless. They should have just made it an automatic Support Package based on score earned only, no time or deaths (deaths raise it too right?)

It's easily the least innovative CoD (as far as MP goes) since WaW. That said, for some reason, I can stand playing it more right now than BO2, a game with clearly more vision to it. Obviously better than AW. I yell a lot still and there's countless bullshit (this game might have already made the record for random grenade deaths on me already), but I have to play it for the money's worth. I'm gonna try to go for diamond assault rifles, (though headshots are slow to come in sometimes). Not good, but is enough to amuse. Glad, because another straight year of MW3 on an old console is like...yeah. Need something recent to add in a bit. At least transitioning between movement in the games has been smooth, unlike feeling out of place in MW3 from AW. I can switch between the two easily.

CoD just needs to get back on the ground and be tied back to today's times. More relatable, purer gameplay with less randomness. Nope, law dictates we need to move forward apparently. Next, we'll all be hologram robots that can perform DBZ style instant transmission and can slow down time or some shit.

 

Same here Sulq. I got Star Wars: Battlefront for Xmas and I love the game, but I much prefer to play CoD:BO3. I just can't get enough of CoD:BO3 and I'm really looking forward to playing the new maps.

Treyarch know how to make a good game...

 

I'm pissed that Microsoft didn't have a TB option earlier, so all I have is the 500GB and since you have to install games, I'm almost out of space.

I agree that BO3 is better in terms of movement when compared to the previous AW. How could CoD become more innovative? I think BO3 has a different feel than to the other previous installments, (but feels most similar to BO2 & Treyarch in general).

I would like to see CoD go back in time again vs. this futuristic stretch we have been on.

 

The very first thing I did when I got my PS4, was swap out the 500GB HDD for a 1.5TB HDD. I haven't regretted it one little bit.

I was quite surprised both Sony and Microsoft didn't release the new consoles with a larger HDD from the start. Especially when they knew you had to install something for every game you wanted to play. 500GB was a lot of space for the PS3 and X360, but it wasn't even close to being enough for the PS4 and XOne...

I don't want them to change the face of CoD, but sick with what made it good and make additions to actually improve and shift things around a bit. Think about it, nothing new in this game really. Killstreaks, bleh. Making them worse and worse each game, harder to obtain, still not letting players choose different setups for each class, and no nod to one of AW's only good points, modifications to each. Specialists are simply another reorganization for abilities that just piss players off (they redo knifing, but still add in the Ripper?). Low amount of on-disc weapons (same old classes and amount of guns in each). Almost nothing to call their own.

To be more innovative? I guess the only thing they should do at this point is to go back to roots. And stop this Esports crap.

No for him. He still plays the last gen CoDs and Activision seems unbudging about them being ported up.

 

It would be a dream come true to own at least one of every console. I've come up with a plan to buy a second PS4 and setting it up with a Logitech G29 with a racing simulator frame and using it exclusively for racing games. The only obstacle preventing my plan from becoming a reality? The wife...

 

You think the scorestreaks suck in his game? Because the R.A.P.S. are probably the most annoying scorestreak to exist. The whole team essentially stops playing the objective to deal with them. I guess thinking about it more so though that some of he scorestreaks are pretty terrible. Like the Cerberus.

The Cerberus is bad, Sulq? No way!! When I bust out a Cerberus, it has a tendency to wreak havoc. Not a lot of people run Cold Blooded, so the Cerberus (or a properly placed Hardened Senrty) can be a very effective game changer...
