Those are probably the Canadian prices, but thoughts? Infinite Warfare + CoD 4 remastered.

I think it looks interesting. I like the idea of it so far from what we know. Seems similar to AW storyline though, which I did thoroughly enjoy.

A lot of people are excited for CoD4 remastered. I am, but I am also excited to learn more about the new Call of Duty.

I'm not gonna join the hate bandwagon until I see actual gameplay and maybe even until I've played the game. Then I will decide.

I don't get all the hate for this game.

It's the whole "futuristic" setting, from what I've been seeing in comment sections. Only thing I dislike about the futuristic setting is the exo suit Sledgehammer added. Black Ops 3's movement is tolerable, but I don't mean that in a negative way. I honestly think the campaign of Infinite Warfare could be awesome and of course, I'll be buying the game, however it's not uncommon for me to own a Call of Duty and Battlefield game at the same time and jump from one to another in a play session. DICE is in a fortunate position. They could potentially snag a bunch of Call of Duty "vets" that have been wanting a WW1-2 shooter. I've already seen some major Call of Duty Youtubers make videos about Battlefield 1, though, that doesn't really mean those guys will stop playing Call of Duty games anytime soon.

Oh, I'm very much aware of why people are hating on the game. I'm saying I don't understand how they feel justified to hate and bash on it as much as they have.

1.) They're hating a game based on its 2 minute cinematic reveal trailer. We've seen zero gameplay, almost zero details from the devs, and it was all based on campaign, (assuming people care more about their multiplayer experience).

2.) The game has been in the works since before the release of AW. People don't realize that a gaming developer can't just scrap what they have been working on for so long to rush out a game preferred by the more outspoken members of the community. These things take time.

3.) BO2 was set in the future at like 2025. Infinite Warfare looks like 2035ish I'm guessing. Not too far off. Also, BO2 did extremely well in terms of sales and was also perceived well by the community. The last few CoD's are just trying to play off of that except to do it better. Hence new innovative movement systems, specialists, etc. Again, the game was being made before the known hate of future warfare.

4.) WW2 can only be done so much. If a gaming developer strays from the true storyline, people will be pissed. Games featuring modern warfare and WW2 had become saturated with the same story lines, etc. Going into the future, the developers can be much more creative rather than re-doing D-Day every year.

5.) Lets all wait and see what Sledgehammer does. They are the first company that is able to start fresh, fully aware of the hate towards future warfare and advanced movement. They should then be able to create a game people enjoy. Or at least the outspoken whiny parts of the community.

I would love another WW2 type of game, don't get me wrong. However, I will still be happy with a CoD set in the future as long as it plays well without annoying BS. Tbh, I think a large portion of the community is very ungrateful and over reacting WAY too much over a game they've yet to play. Some are just hating on the bandwagon just for the sake of doing so.

Sorry Sulq. But wait until you see gameplay? It's going to be advanced warfare 2 just with different aesthetics and weapons. CoD has been recycled since MW1. Let the series die with pride and stop trying to revive it's rotting corpse. It's just sad watching what was once a beloved series to me be used every year until there's nothing left. CoD is going the way of guitar hero I'm afraid.

You want change yet hate the new changes? If you don't like it, then don't play. It's a video game...not a lifestyle choice.

I haven't played CoD since BO2. I'm still going to point out the series flaws. #RIPCoD

Flaws in your opinion may not be a flaw by someone else. And I don't think it's very justifiable to create a brash opinion and point out flaws on a game you have not even played. You're starting to sound like that irrational shit stain, coke addict whiteboy7thst lol

I've played enough cod to know what to expect. Exo suit BS. Point and shoot. And no dedicated servers with an unbalanced multiplayer where people kill each other mindlessly with no sense of strategy whatsoever.

That's BO3 in a nutshell. Spawns flip at the touch of a light breeze and people spawn behind you all the time. Just a mindless circus.

Need to get back to modern times. Relatable and would probably use actual weapons, not cute made-up shit.

The dislikes on the trailer are a little insane, but whatever to get Activision's attention I guess.

I was waiting for your reply to grace us with your incoherent opinions. Too bad it's typically 100% biased and irrelevant :- /

I no longer play CoD and i understand its difficult to keep the same old concept fresh for returning players. But I don't agree with the way they go about it. What do they really do? change the backround? the maps are virtually the same thing over and over. one main corridor with 2 parallel corridors and a couple connecting routes between them. Considering the amount of money they make on these games servers would be a great reward for the tireless fans who continue to buy their game year after year.

i guess it is easy to get hateful about any new game when the last three or four just did not cut it.
maybe that's why you can get 60,000 on line gamers in MW2.:wacko::wacko:

    Well said Sulq. Great post.

After watching the CoD:IW reveal trailer, I had a feeling come over me that I hadn't experienced in years. I found myself excited for the CoD:IW campaign. It looked like a total blast (no pin intended). If the space battles allow you to freely control your space fighter, instead of being a simple rail shooter section, I can see myself replaying those missions just for the fun of it.

As for the MP, if it plays similar to CoD:BO3, I think it'll be fun...

Wait, what? 60K people on MW2, or you meant to say MW3? Assuming MW3, because I remembered the bugged player counts across all platforms in MW2.
