They're kind of not wrong. The back end of last season was about giving people faith. It was fine at the time, but it didn't need to be (badly) repeated this season as well. I hope they go into a new direction next half-season, because this one felt like a (bigger than usual) waste of time.

I never thought I would see the day, but I am done with this series. When that beer bottle came floating over the hill my wife and I simultaneously looked at each other and said "I'm done"
Its sad...It had potential.

 

Yeah the beer bottle "hot air balloon" was REALLY stupid and over the top. I still haven't watched all of Sunday. I am a glutton for punishment so I will see it through but it's not a priority.

 

Same here. Have not bothered watching episode 7 nor do I plan on watching episode 8. Three weeks off before they air episode 9. I figure this will be like when I stopped smoking cigarettes. Quit cold turkey then when that three week break is over and series returns I will be free of the "addiction"

They may find that their numbers drop a bit after that three week break - perhaps a fair number of viewers will just forget and never return to watching. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Sadly, watching the ratings numbers may prove to be more interesting than watching the actual series

 

But, but,... you'll miss the best part...

 

In season 6 he reads Game of Thrones and it becomes a sick fusion of the two shows and all villians in the Walking Dead IP all returns to make the Game of The Walker Throne. Negan VS Ricktator VS Governor VS Gareth VS Joes gang VS John Proctor VS Prepper Ranch VS Taqas Tribe VS Dawn VS Whisperers. Sean Bean is returning as Eddard Stark in the modern day trying to keep the peace as Hand of the "Walker King"

Disney probably buys the show and says the Westeros "The Northerner" Starks are all old ancestors of Tony Stark who saves the "Good guys" in Episode 9 av the mid season finale.

 

I think Sherry's gonna go from a blip on the radar to a blimp on the radar.
