This is not the first time he's said they're 'dangerous', which to his base is enough to get someone killed.

The notes seem specific to Omar. Al Qaeda. A connection he has tried to make many times.

It was a combination of his celebrity status and then him getting "credibility" with the far right in pursuing the insanity of Obama's birth certificate.

Those are some pretty thin qualifications. He’s basically a specialist in conspiracy theories and just making shit up.

He was willing to say publicly what many people felt but for one reason or another felt unable to say. He was NOT a standard politician at a time people were fed up with standard politicians.

If you don't want to understand why he was elected, then don't. LOL, you can then have four more years to bellyache about it when he gets re-elected.

There were a lot of really hateful people who bought into his 'taking back America' bullshit. Some people just bought into the 'Hilary is worse' lie. For the Evangelicals, everything is about abortion and Armageddon - these are the people now claiming Trump is sent by god.

And you can't discount the Russian meddling. I don't think it's a coincidence that the states that the Russians concentrated on are the ones that unexpectedly went to Trump.

Basically half of the voting public voted for Trump. They are mostly "normal" people, not the lunatic fringe. What made them vote for Trump?

To some degree, that's probably true.

Here's how the debate is being framed: Omar, etc. = anti-pledge of allegiance. Trump = pro-pledge of allegiance. What plays better with your average voter? In this town at least, I'd bet Trump has a slightly better chance of winning today than he did yesterday.

    "
A Minnesota city council on Monday reportedly agreed to reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance at meetings, weeks after the group sparked a widespread -- and high-reaching -- backlash by removing the pledge's recital.

Officials for St. Louis Park unanimously voted to reinstate the pledge.

“I’ve concluded that I made a mistake and I’m sorry and I’m asking for forgiveness,” city council member Steve Hallifan said at the meeting, according to FOX9.

The city council, which is in controversial Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s 5th congressional district, created an uproar after a June 17 unanimous vote which amended the procedural rules to cut the pledge from the start of each session. The change came as part of an effort to serve a more “diverse community," council member Tim Brausen said during the June meeting.

“We concluded that in order to create a more welcoming environment to a diverse community we’re going to forgo saying the Pledge of Allegiance before every meeting,” Brausen said.

The change soon sparked protests and criticism from people opposing the decision – and the news eventually worked its way up to President Trump.

“The Pledge of Allegiance to our great Country, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, is under siege. That is why I am going to win the Great State of Minnesota in the 2020 Election,” Trump tweeted last week. “People are sick and tired of this stupidity and disloyalty to our wonderful USA!”"

Minnesota cities that do/do not recite the pledge:

And just in case you're thinking that Edina and Robbinsdale are hotbeds of liberalism, Edina is well known throughout the state as cake eaters (and Trump voters). Robbinsdale is a politically balanced suburb.

This is a non-issue and simply designed to deflect from Epstein, Trump's racism, impeachment, etc.

Comparing the cities, there are eleven who DO say it and three do NOT. If you want to win an election, it's better IMO to be on the side of the eleven. (assuming equal population and all).

Hmm.. maybe we should change the names of those cities to Commieapolis, Lenindale, and Redina...

Today, Donald is golfing again. He’s with Rand Paul.
First - does he have a big zit next to his nose, or just what’s left of his breakfast.

Secondly - he either fell, or he hit something
    [IMG]

BTW - Donald’s top teeth look like dentures, which would explain his lisping at times.

    The truth is out there

What's that thing on his nose? Either a giant growth or he got his nose pierced.

I missed it. When did liberals declare they were anti pledge?
