    Hard to see but it appears that this a moment between Daryl and Lydia and are they in the infirmary? I do hope that we see a father/daughter type relationship between these two take root.

    My spidey sense is telling me that it is Magna who has stepped up and is leading the Hilltop. The assumption could be that Zeke being the once leader of the Kingdom would naturally ascend to the Hilltop throne but I think not. Thoughts?

    In this photo Magna is talking about how if they cross the borders then it means war. She comes across as very much in control here. And is that Zeke in the background nestled between her and Dianne? And is that Cyndie from Oceanside?

    I really hope they develop the characters from Magna's group. The potential for great stories is there, fingers crossed they build upon that

    First, Earl has been busy!! Those are impressive shields

    Second, take note of the young kids to the far right. No more "Carl stay in the house" nonsense. These kids are now being trained for battle at a young age, or at the very least being trained how to defend themselves

    Thinking the beach battles are a matter of a ship washing up close to shore and releasing a bunch of walkers that approach Oceanside, creating the need to form a fighting group to go handle it.

    Seems like they sort of ignore the Whisperers for a while and just stick to the rule of not crossing into their territory, but eventually they are forced to. Alpha kills someone, releases walkers to attack Hilltop and that kicks off the war. In a way it's similar to the war with the saviors. They tried to "live with it" but at some point they realize they must eliminate the Whisperers.

    I'm still hoping Carol is the one who takes out Alpha and Negan kills Beta, saving Daryl who gets his ass handed to him by Beta.

    Those are Kingdom extras (well, now Hilltop or Alexandria) Michelle Morano and Lindsay Monihan, both been around since S7 and were Kingdom soldiers (both are quite short too!). I’m pretty sure that’s who those two people are on the right :D and for shits and giggles, former Saviors Jordan Scott and Brandon Stoker are on the right as well, along with Oceansider Marisol Correa :)

    However, in regards to kids, Judith can be seen among those people, and Hilltop teen Gage is also one of the shield-bearing people, I think we see him briefly when they show the scene of Luke emerging from the shields.

    Shout out to Marco and Rachel Ward in the photo below as well!

    Loved the trailer. Thank you @Dnae for breaking it all down into screenshots. So much to look forward to. I love this whole theme of dealing with fear and paranoia running through the season, they've already introduced that so well in the last season. I'm also dead excited about Michonne's final storylines on the show, and so jazzed about the possibility of Daryl and Connie. Totally on board of that ship. Can't wait for all the Daryl/Carol banter coming up either, I just adore this friendship, my favourite bond on the show. And the Michonne/Zeke thing? I agree with @Sebrebc, it will probably come to nothing. A little comfort thing going on, just before Michonne finds out Rick is alive and runs to pack her bag. Bit soap opera, but whatever. The final screenshot with Michonne and Lucille, that's one chilling image to leave us with. Can't wait!!

    Best TWD moment outside of the panel comes from Caiely and JDM

    Norman, Cailey and Jeffrey are set to watch their first scenes from the series and their reactions are also filmed and shared via pic in pic.

    Cailey seeing JDMs/Negans first scene begins at the 5:00 minute mark and her reaction and Jeffrey's reaction to HER reaction - well, it is all just so damn cute and funny

    The best interview with Danai about her exit from season 10 comes from MTV news. And I love that Avi has attended SDCC this year, enjoying his input in the interviews outside of the panel itself
