If Judith ends up being the one who opened Negans cell, i give it a 9. If Negan just wanders through someones house and climbs a fence while coincidentally being found by Judith, i have to bump it down to 8. I like that they are breaking up the story into smaller bites instead trying weave too many moving parts together.

Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say.

Considering this particular Rome was pretty much torched and practically had to be rebuilt from the ground up, I think what I'm seeing is amazing, and, frankly, unexpected. I was in the "well, that was fun..." camp. Happy to be proven wrong.

Still the highest rated show on cable. Nothing to sneeze at.

"If you build it, they will come." I am absolutely certain time will prove this true.

 

7. Appreciate whisperer stuff, daryl, chillaxed Negan and then his new jacket etc...

but, as I wrote in another thread: every time there is no context (why is Judith alone in the road) I take it as a ploy to get the audience to care about her more than they feel like right now.

I think her character is delivered very well, so no complaints about Cailey etc obviously, but the way she is being used in the show right now...I am waiting to be happy with it.

And Sid and Rosey...Whoa. Shut the ffffront door! I do like the way Eugene find out. It's just so nothing out of the ordinary, no dramatic heartbreaker...and that's what makes it more so!

Another good episode. I was surprised that the Negan parts worked for me because he was one of my biggest problems in the prior couple of seasons. Hopefully that holds up. They're doing an excellent job with the Whisperers. My only problem with the episode was Judith standing alone in the road shooting Negan.

Yeah, that part was out there. Not only did she just happen to be where Negan was, but she was out there all on her own.

 

Granted it was a bit out there but I went with the theory that Judith was probably just outside the gates of ASZ, not too far from home. Carl Jr. needs to spread her wings daddy-o
