Negan Not Attacked by Walkers

    So with all Negan's talking etc, why isn't he constantly attacked by the walkers near the Whisperers? He's not covered in dead guts, so what's protecting him? I know he gets attacked late in the episode, after Beta and a few others leave, but I don't think their presence would have protected Negan. Thoughts?
