They can't afford to lose Daryl now. Not with Michonne leaving and Carol in crazy town. I'm just hoping Connie survives, I really don't think she's dead. I never thought Glen was either.

 

UGH I hate myself but I have to admit I liked Daryl in this episode.

I especially liked his reaction to Carol after the explosion. He has given her every opportunity and she continually spits in his face. Do I think it is intentional? No. BUT others have suffered great losses without their response being to put others in danger. The group's reaction to her is well founded. Her recklessness has now put Magna and Connie in danger at the very least. Her recklessness is now partly responsible for the fear and pain that Kelly and Daryl are feeling and Yumiko when she finds out.

 

Daryl was excellent in this episode. One of his best. I DO NOT believe he'll be killed off anytime soon. I also don't believe Connie is dead. I believe we see her in a car holding a baby in one of the back half trailer videos.

 

He really stepped up to the plate this episode showing good leadership abilities. I think he’ll be alright out there on his own and he needs a little breathing room from Carol at the moment.

 

Actually I think that was Kelly. I don't think they dead though.

I loved watching Daryl being a leader and intelligent; that's the Daryl from seasons 1-5.

 

I remember seeing someone with a baby in a car in one of the trailers, but I can't find it on youtube anywhere.

 

It was Kelly and Alden. People are speculating the baby is Adam but I think its too young. I'll try to find it.

 

Yup, that's it. I still think Connie and Magna's absence in all the trailers was purposely done and at least Connie survives. But who knows.

Great point. I know it's easy to forget the actual show timeline (Maggie wasn't pregnant for 3 years). So it's possible the remaining episodes only take place over a few days and that's not addressed until next season. Angela said this season would end on a cliffhanger. I think most people assume that means a hinted connection to Rick, CRM, Michonne, or something like that. But it could be regarding the cave. I really don't see them dragging the whisper arc over to next season.
