Yeah, I couldn't figure those out either. Must mean something to someone. It was interesting that the picture of Judith showed her more like her current age instead of when Rick went away. Is that just what he thinks she'll look like now (which means he did that recently), or has he somehow seen her, but couldn't make contact. This last statement was raised on The Talking Dead after the episode.

 

The message on the iPhone said, "Believe a little bit longer." This was confirmed by showrunner Angela Kang, who offered a bit of insight regarding Michonne's final episode of the series while talking to Insider.
