I watched the entire video of him posted earlier, and I agree, I think he cares, too. The trouble, IMO, is he's still a politician and wants to remain one. He isn't going to do anything that gets people *really* upset at him regardless of how effective it might be.

Russia is like the wild west, but on mega doses of steroids.

I have family members who have been to Russia and they say that the people there are maniacs on the road with their driving. I said "No! Worse than Portland? Worse than LA? Worse than Philly? And they said "Way worse!"

Then I said "worse than Alaskan truck drivers?!?!?!?" (Trust me, they are insane) and they told me... "not much worse, but yes, worse." That tells me all I need to know.

Anyway, that's just one example of the craziness that happens over there. This story kind of doesn't surprise me.

Totally agree. Now they want a pass on their often times sub-par care. Nursing homes have failed on such huge scale. No one would ever survive a hospital stay if care was provided on the same level as nursing homes.

There videos on YouTube of their driving. My favorite is the tank bursting through the hedge crossing the busy highway full of traffic.

I've seen many of those Russian driving videos. They only reinforce my family member's harrowing tales of being in the passenger seat. lol

So I went to you tube and put in "Russian driving." It went straight to crashes. After the first few I was laughing and wondering why Russian vehicles don't come equipped standard with brakes. lol Because there is just no other explanation. lol

I don’t know about deBlasio but I figure Cuomo doesn’t ride too often because he’s governing in the state capital which is Albany, where the Governor’s mansion is, when he’s not at his private home in Westchester.

And what would that be? If you have some better ideas you might want to write him. Maybe he’ll mention you in one of his press meetings like he did the Kansas farmer who sent one of his protective masks to NY for those on the front lines.

Cuomo surrounds himself with the homeless in Albany? I didn't know he was such a man of the people.

For starters, put temporary ticket booths outside of the subway at the entrances, and only let people in who buy a ticket. Time stamp the tickets if they aren't stamped already, and anyone inside the system who's been in there for 1 hour and hasn't left on their own gets kicked out. That would solve the problem of people riding around all day infecting people, and probably remove 90% of the filth that accumulates in the system as well.

BTW, doing things like talking up the farmer who sent in one mask is exactly what I'm talking about. Yeah, it's a feel-good story, but does it *really* solve anything to have one extra mask? No.

Please note UofW has increased their estimates of deaths to 135000 now because of premature opening of states.
I wonder how these governors are going to spin the increase in deaths. I feel that these governors should be held accountable other than just at the polls at election time. I bet that would slow down the rush to open.
