Lmao i noticed this last night after watching the episode. It's kinda sad they missed it in props.

It looks like a break-barrel air rifle that hasn't been properly cocked. It probably is. I'd love to see how many skulls he could evacuate with a .22 pellet lol

 

Lol if you're good and not too far away a shot to the eye or temple would do the trick. (IF it only takes slight damage to the brain to kill a walker.)

I'm pretty sure you'd have to be practically point blank to do any real damage. My mate got shot with a .22 air rifle from about two feet, and if it had been in the eye, it could definitely have killed him. It ran out of steam right between the two bones in his forearm.

I was shot with the same gun from about thirty feet. It stung a little.

 

I see these things here and there and really just let it go.

I'd like to believe that they knew the gun was bent and put it in the show to emphasize that the Governor's crew are a bunch of goofs. Kind of like how the female archer kept missing her target while boasting about her skills. I say, I would like to believe that, but in reality I'm lol'ing at the screen shot you guys found. Good catch folks.

 

Whenever he fires the gun he'll just have to make sure he's shooting around a corner. Problem solved.
