Where's your evidence for that? It was never even discussed on the show. And even if that were true, not one family or small group thought to agree on a meeting place?

 

It was everyone's fault for getting too comfortable and not doing this, even Rick's. The council was in a place of command, though. So, they should get the most blame for not organizing this when they had over 6 months.

I can't remeber the episode this season, but Daryl says the plan for the bus was simply for them to drive off in case they needed to get out of there.

my reality is, if I stopped to ponder every plot point that didn't make 100% sense,
I'd never be able to enjoy the show- it is fun to discuss tho

 

I bet there's talk of meeting place in the next episode - maybe that's where Darryl and Beth are hanging out with the fire in the preview. Wasn't the last episode just one day/night? Michonne left on her own on purpose and Rick was too weak to do anything but get to the nearest safe place. We'll see. They are usually not quite as dumb as they seem at first.

 

They meet at TGIFridays, where friends and family go to lose their troubles.

 

They thought the fences would hold, but are more to keep inmates in than people out. No one realized the size of the herd, but should have know that all the noise from first battle would bring more. TG was under their noses which was the best place to hide and they figured he was gone, but you cant figure what someone else will do and TG got lucky and was able to work his way to the top of the new group. Even if they had a meet up point, the bus was shot up, prison blown up, Rick was beat up and they are scattered. Maybe the ones that were trapped at the prison will find the hole in the back and escape that way. Everyone seems to be on foot, so it may take some time if ever especially with all the walkers around.

 

No, they meet at Cheers, because sometimes u want to go where everyone knows your name, and then they hook up with Woody, the bartender, who become the leader of the group and takes them all to Bill Murray's house..

 

Thinking of 2012 and Zombieland, meeting up with Woody doesn't seem like a very smart move = )

 

Maybe nobody spoke French and they didn't know what a Rendezvous was?

But seriously, perhaps we will find out in a later episode they had already considered a general plan, but it was all helter skelter and blown up (no pun intended) when the Gov showed up with a tank and another small army. Plus the flu had hit the prison pretty hard and might have thrown off the original plan a bit too, if they even had one to begin with.

 

I'm sure they had a plan that involved some meeting point, they just didn't plan on being scattered to the four winds with a prison full of walkers.

 

Wouldn't you think that they'd be planning to go back to the prison to scavenge? After all, the cars and Daryl's chopper and all sorts of supplies are back there. And Michonne's cat.

 

Yes, I thought so too, actually they won the fight, they could all go back to the prison and clear it like they did at the first time. At least they could try to stay around the prison even if they lost the fight and regroup.

I was wondering the same thing about Alina a while back. I enjoy reading certain individuals posts and then all of a sudden I dont see them posting anymore. I am curious when it happens. Did they get too busy with work or family, get angry or bored with postings?
