That's like the gravy of this show. And I loved Emily's talk with her children about how nothing changes. We never needed god.

    Now...THAT...is how you end a season. :) :)

One thing I will say, is that I hope Hugo and Emily were not killed in the explosion, giving them off screen deaths. I don't think they will do that, at least not with Hugo. I think its actually possible Emily could die that way, signifying the end of the 'Annville Era' of this show, but I'd really hate to see Hugo go that way. I think his story is not over.

I was so glad they didn't cop out with the 'god arrival' thing. I was afraid they were going to have the methane explosion happen right when he called god, and having people somehow mistake that for a sign from god. I'm glad they didn't go that route, this was much better.

For me, the best 10 seconds of the episode was when Clive asked for his p*nis back, and everyone was laughing, and then fake god is laughing too! lol.

I thought the prostitute trying to use the machine after Pappy died smiling was brilliant.

I think its sad that Walter is almost certainly dead.

    In the comics,

Also, you have to be careful of what you find in safe deposit boxes.

Man oh man I freakin' love this show!

So much to say about this episode but for now I will leave it at this one bit: I loved LOVED the ending with the Saint of Killers. That was an unbelievably gorgeous scene

EDIT: OH and I laughed out loud at the beginning of the episode when the police in cars were chasing down a running Jesse/Preacher

Well that was fun. I was thinking about God appearing to King Arthur in the Holy Grail, and then Seth Rogen said pretty much the same thing in Talking Preacher. So was Eugene only in Jesse's imagination at the end, or was he somewhere like Hell, Michigan?

He was only in Jesse's imagination. Eugene is actually in hell, probably living his attempted suicide over and over. Jesse/Tulip/Cassidy were in a town just outside of Annville, which is how they survived the explosion.

That's what my wife thought too. Good to see Ian Coletti's okay though. He even has a toy made in his likeness. [IMG]

Yeah, that diner was for Tulip's 'french fry' request, so they were somewhere near Annville. And on Talking Preacher they pretty much reveal that Eugene is living his worst moment over and over in hell.

I'm just worried about Hugo. He needs a real death, dammit!! ;).

I dunno, comrade. That blast was like an H-bomb. I don't think anyone in town was surviving that one. Plus everything had gone to shit after they discovered God had abandoned them.

Yeah, but I don't see them just ending Hugo off screen. I think they would have at least given him some final lines, maybe ranting about monster swamps and then his house disappears. Plus he has a

Well anyone who survived would have had to be far from town. I mean, it's possible, and it would be nice to see Eugene and Hugo reunite. Otherwise, Eugene won't have much to come back to.

So if you get shot in the face by the Saint of Killers in hell does that mean you don't regenerate, and DeBlanc is gone for good? Fiore looked so sad sitting on his trunk. And if you don't regenerate in hell does that mean you don't regenerate on Earth either and the Archangel is a gonner for good too?

My favorite little moments: Jessie and Tulip beating the living shit out of Carlos, despite having given him a tire iron and gun to "make it more even". The indian and gopher mascots hanging themselves together in the hanging tree. Quinncannon hugging the meat baby. Emily telling her kids why no god doesn't change anything. Cassidy being a know-it-all about calling god in the church. Sheriff Root developing a grudging respect for Cassidy for taking all of the times he shot him like a man.

I will really miss this show. When does season 2 begin?
