Perhaps the producers may think that he's too "comic-book" like. I mean you've Michonne, fair enough. But Jesus takes it to the next level. Guess I need to see it to judge, but I just can't imagine all this ninja like martial art kicks and stuff against twenty armed guys not come off as silly on television. But I guess we'll have to see.

good last issue before the war starts. im still curious as to where Dwight is during all this.

 

I'm surprised we got out of the issue without at least one good-guy death. Overall, I felt it was a so-so issue. How did Jesus organize an offensive so fast with Ezekiel?? They show it as taking hours to get from one place to another when they travel. But not a bad issue.

 

I do not like one-side battle, now Saviors looks more and more like hot air lead by a big talker , they lost way more men than the damage they inflict, let me wonder whether they are actually harmless, things just turned a little bit interesting but in this issue, thing returns to what it used be,
Let me say if the Governor is the leader of the Savior, then in that trip, Rick, Carl, Michone, Glenn, Maggie, Sophia and Heath, all would be dead, then the Alexandria safe zone would be doom already, Saviors would save themselves tons of trouble. There would no stupid remark such as "I do not want to kill you, I want to break you", does anything good ever come out such nonsense? when Governor and his army left Woodbury, I knew Rick and his people were in deep trouble, now when Negan declared "we are going to war", I do not have that feeling and I do not worry for Rick much. In the long build up for the "All out war", Kirkman fails to set up Saviors as a group of very dangerous enemy, I wish he would do much better in the next volume, he would have some catch up to do, and he has not tell a story as good as the prison arc.

 

This ^ before I didn't like Jesus a lot, but he was really cool in this issue tbh.

 

When Jesus and Rick were talking face to face I thought for a moment they were going to kiss.

 

inb4 something major happens to Alexandria when Rick and co. are gone, so Carl has to deal with it.
