That first walker is trolling his friends. He totally turned around in that first panel and winked and went "PKOW!" And then they are all trying to follow the sound and under his breath he keeps going "PKOW, PKOW"

 

In that last panel, is one of them holding a rock? So I guess that's a Whisperer?

As usual this preview told us almost nothing, but I am so happy that the issue is early this month.

 

Gosh, these previews are just giving out too much information.

Idk if there is a rock.. it looks more like just the shadow in the palm of the hand and fingers. You're talking about the close up hand I'm assuming.

 

I don't see a rock. Do you mean the hand in the foreground? I think its empty.
