yeah, i think the scene of letting the people out was played more realistically for all of those reasons ~ it's a time of panic, so they would definitely be in self-preservation mode. there was a lot of selfish believable human behavior in that scene.

 

Who said anything about Tobias finding them. Because you are absolutely right, no way in hell Tobias would ever find Maddy&Co.
I actually meant Maddy finding Tobias, she knew where he lived, she knew his plan. There are multiple plausibles scenario's to think of for it to need to happen.

 

She knows where he lives, so assuming it's not within 6 miles of her (in which case he was probably shot by the army) they could drive right over and pick him up. Assuming they want another mouth to feed with who knows how many relatives tagging along.
