I totally understand. Yeah, the books are a bit tedious at times but the suspenseful parts more than make up for it. The cool thing is that some of the theories behind certain characters are still in play because the last two books have yet to be competed.

I like how the books can hint on something developing whereas the tv series has to be more obvious.

The GoT series has remain for the most part faithful to the books where as the TWD series has its own flavor and twists in storylines.

I only read up to about comic 60 or so (and a few after that) but can say that there are changes from the comic, but still have the same elements.

sometimes, I try to avoid any spoilers too because I want to experience the full impact of a tv show.
