I'm just glad hat we seem to be getting back to TWD tension and action scenes that haven't been a big part of recent episodes except for "claimed'. 13 is looking good so far , I'm not too caught up by which characters are / are not in it , I'm just keen to see the plot move forward at last.

Darryl doesn't have an earring does he? From what they were saying, whatever they were doing to the guy included either pulling out his earrings or cutting off his ear(s). I can't see Darryl begging like that guy was.

Sasha's scream is one of the best acted screams I've ever heard --- a high pitched true fear scream.

Nope on the earring and exactly on the begging. It also sounded nothing like him.

It is just me thinking something would be pretty cool based upon the fractured timeline and 'just missed each other' locations we have been seeing.

A lot of episode 9 came from comic material, A fraction of 10 was in the comic and the rest has not been comic material.. This next episode probably won't have any comic material in it either..

I did. That's what I was thinking too. I guess we'll see. Probably not until 15 or 16.

I mentioned it in the 413 synopsis thread, but haven't seen anyone else mention anything similar. Am I the only one who thinks that the graveyard and the pristine funeral home, the stalking of Daryl and Beth and the subsequent kidnapping, are all very apparent references to Father Gabriel and his church?

Edit--Maybe this mysterious Gareth character is a remix of Father Gabe. Rather than being a man of the cloth, he is simply a humble funeral home director. But rather than being a coward who turned away his congregants condemning them to their deaths, he is actually a fierce and troubled sociopath, who has been isolated since the early days of the outbreak. Also, as a result of a lifetime of dressing and preparing corpses for the grave, death and gore have absolutely no affect on him. He would also have a wealth of information on the human body, medical knowledge, skilled in the art of preservation. When he finally ran out of food, knowing he was a terrible hunter, and animals are way too fast, he decided to put his specialized skill set to good use, and began hunting a new type of game. It almost makes sense, and would explain why they keep saying Gareth is a remix of comic characters. He plays both sides of the fence, choosing whatever is most convenient and beneficial to him. He is both Gabe and Chris, Sweet, compassionate, welcoming host on the surface,(or when it serves him) fierce cannibal and sociopath underneath. Am I alone in this theory?
