Looks like they're using Flashbacks to Show more of Karen's death?

Yeah, this just won't wash over Carol, she'll be dealing with it for a little while. Wouldn't be surprised if they show it for the opening next week. I'm just glad Carol is central to the story this season.

I see. So we still enter a house without doing a sweep of a darkened bathroom you're about to enter before rifling through the medicine cabinet, just like Maggie and Daryl barged into the child care centre? Hmmmm. OK. For a moment there I was expecting to see the classic horror moment (spoofed in Shaun of the Dead) of closing the mirror to see the figure of a zombie emerging from behind the shower curtain.

Like another user stated Carol hesitating to move away from the stairs was also very odd; clearly she's trying to deal with the guilt.

I'm pretty sure Carol is going to be haunted for what she did for a while. She needs to be strong more than ever.

Love the rick and carol scenes, they seem like a strong dynamic duo. Let's just hope she pulls it together.

I'm getting the vibe that Carol is headed towards her comic book fate, albeit by a different route.

She already took a big chance with her life, by going to sort out the water hose on her own. The clip with Rick and Carol shows her hesitating close to where that walker fell, which shows she's dealing with some serious inner turmoil.

If Rick tells the council about what Carol did, I can't think of a single one of them who would be on her side (even if they could see what her motive was). I think it would especially break her heart if Daryl turned his back on her.

Tyreese's eye is healing fast. I think that is like the same day still, or next day at latest, and the swelling looked gone...

Same. I was confident she would survive the season but I can imagine her confessing to Tyreese or having a breakdown near the finale and killing herself. Not sure Id be to happy with Andrea and Carol gone...

Having her die at all at this point would be a total jack-ass move, let alone having her go down the same route as her pathetic comic counterpart. They'd essentially be throwing all of her previous development out the window.

Am I the only one who thinks she didn't purposely hesitate when the walker comes falling down the stairs?
I think she was just startled. I mean, it all happens in a matter of a few seconds, not everyone can act that fast. And that's why Rick grabs her and pulls her back.

I don't think she'll be pathetic like her comic book counterpart, I think the writers have ensured that she's not weak or crazy, she has reasoning behind her actions. I do think it's building to a point where the guilt makes her vulnerable though, especially with Tyreese. I don't think she'll kill herself, but I could certainly see her sacrificing herself, especially if it was to save the kids, or maybe even Tyreese. I don't think he would hurt her, despite his anger over what she did to Karen. But his forgiveness, if it was forthcoming, might actually be harder for Carol to bear than if he wanted to kill her.
