squirrel trap foreshadowing

I thought this episode was rather predictable. First off last episode showing terminus with tons of plants and no animals, yet blonde lady offers meat from the grill. Also the squirrel trap Rick was teaching carl about was Obvious foreshadowing of the terminus scene.

so they put the person's belonging that they eat and put it next to where they write that person's name?

also, there's a number by each name. Is that the order in which they ate each person?

 

I think you nailed it. Just like how Carol found TY and the Girls they heard what went down.

 

Could be some also seem to have city & state. Could be their age if they knew it. If not one says 42 they've been there a long time from the looks of it.

Next season will pick up with Tyree, Carol and Judith arriving at Terminus the same time as Rick & Co. being captured.

 

Rick will shout THIS IS SPARTA and kick the train car door open.

 

I think Beth and Carol and Ty will be together and Beth's kidnapper and they will save the day somehow, Beth is the new sheriff in town.

 

If they care for a memorial room, does it mean they do a quick kill of their victims?

 

Just finished watching the west coast feed. I can't believe they're going to be stuck in a &#!%@ boxcar for seven &#!%@ months! Damn, I'm pissed.

I'm so pissed I can't respond to any other threads right now.

Watching the second airing. So now I can write, but everyone else has gone to sleep. I'm noticing a lack of posts from the long-timers in particular.
- How did I miss the foreshadowing of the animal trap?
- I like the flashbacks. Damn good to see Hershel again. This season has been so much better at respecting the characters than season 3.
- I knew Daryl wouldn't hesitate to come to Rick's side.
- Awesome stuff, Rick! Ripped a guy's throat out...with his teeth!
- Nice convo between Rick and Daryl. Bros.
- Gawd, I hate Romulans.
- I didn't catch the cries of help from the boxcars the first time through.
- Too many candles burning. Waste of energy.
- Are there boxcars in the comics? How'r they gonna get outta this one?

Cannibalism may not be an effective way to gather food but it has the added benefit of eliminating the competition.

The last scene with Carol and Lizzie is still my favorite of the season.

 

They're trying to find the new protector of Terminus and are bringing candidates there to find out who's worthy. :zombies_lol:

I guarantee that is exactly what happened, no one ever intends to do that. Me? If a room is left dirty and there is any doubt, I leave a note for the housekeepers to check in the A.M. Could have even been here, as I recall hearing this very thing a few years back happened to the other guy. Should have offered something for the inconvenience in the A.M. as well, but we are super efficient here, and refuse to leave a guest angry on the way out the door. (Save for the ones that are just looking for a free room, so they will act as if bad weather, road construction, power outages are our responsibility to refund their stay, or just want a rate lower than I can even offer - 35 bucks is not a hotel room rate in this day and century.) Sorry you had that happen, but thank you for not executing one of us.

I think that's supposed to be taken literally, not in team-building, brotherhood kinda way. Ewww.

 

Rick was holding a terminus guy at gunpoint who was then shot by the rooftop sniper. I couldn't tell if it was a head shot or not. Wouldn't it be great if it wasn't and he turned and then turned the other terminus people thus creating a diversion allowing Rick's group to escape!!!

 

The person and name thing gives me weird Lost flashbacks. Maybe they're looking for a "Jacob."

 

I enjoyed the episode, but I feel like they are forever creating an issue for themselves in terms of Carl. You would think they would learn, and the last couple season at least there is time between seasons. I can't see the gang remaining for 7 months in the train car, and Ty, Carol, and Judith remaining on the road. So instead season 5 will likely take place within a few days of season 4, and Carl will continue to grow.

Feels like this should have been a mid season final or something in that regard. The show takes place over what, 2 years at most now? By year 3 Carl is going to be a man grown with a beard to match Rick.
