Seems like Aaron is impressed with Daryl's ability to tell a walker from a human by using his hearing. It almost seems like he is questioning if Daryl has higher developed senses about people as well, and is just comparing him to Rick. From one of the promos, I think that Aaron is going to get a positive read on Daryl, because it looks like Daryl probably saves his behind. And that is not the behavior they expected out of him. I wonder if Aaron will be better to understand Daryl because before the turn Aaron's and Eric's life style exposed them to stereotyping and bigots and not belonging, the same as Daryl's and Merle's did. Maybe Aaron will be the one to accept Daryl and stick up for him. It would be an odd friendship, but those are usually really interesting.

 

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I suspect that Aaron is following Daryl b/c he wants D to teach him. Aaron's been outside more than the others; he has a better sense of just how dangerous it is. And he does have experience fighting them. Remember when he helped Glenn rescue Rick and Michonne? So maybe he knows the majority of ASZ folks are living in a fantasy world and he wants to be prepared for the real one.

somehow, I bet that Deanna squeezes every use out of people that she can, she sees them as a resource, so unless they choose to be unproductive or are dangerous, she will make use of everyone. It could be the 3 she outed were like the Grady cops, preying on the residents there in one way or another, trying to take control, etc. Which Daryl is a loner, and doesn't want control, so when she sees this, she may not have issues.

I agree. I think it would be awesome if they have Daryl develop a close relationship with Aaron (and maybe Eric). It's highly unlikely they they would ever even meet in the old world but, as we have seen, this new world causes atypical bonds. Imagine if Merle had made it to ASZ -- his comments would have been so outrageous!

Oh now you make me sad I would trade Merle for plenty of people to be still be there. He was a survivor and died in such a poor way. The way there was awesome but the death was really meh!
