You can't be serious [MENTION=4274]Alina[/MENTION]? It's from Episode 101 "Days Gone Bye". Rick, after leaving the hospital and riding the bicycle finally arrives at his home. He finds his family gone, along with most of their belongings. He sits down on the steps near the sidewalk and road in the front yard. He's distraught and struggling to come to grips with the reality of it all. Then, he looks up and all of a sudden sees a man, shambling down the road. Rick sees him in the distance and attempts to call out to him-"Sir? Hey mister!"; that's the exact moment when Duane sneaks up behind him and conks him with the shovel. Just as soon as Rick goes down, the camera pans up, Morgan quickly walks up beside the man in the street(a walker, unknown to Rick) and swiftly, and stylishly puts a bullet in his head. He then goes to Rick, while Duane yells-"Daddy I got one!", but he quickly realizes it's a living man, not a walker and reprimands Duane before taking Rick in.

 

Hands down, Daryl's eye-gouge-reverse-double-skull-bash. That was superbad. Not only the resourcefulness and the maneuver itself, but the extreme courage it takes to reach into the gnashing jaws of a walker. I mean, there was a moment there that Daryl's hand was completely in the walkers mouth.

 

I plead guilty. Obviously this scene didn't imprint on my brain. The shovel to the head and Rick waking up is imprinted but I didn't recognise that scene.

I wonder if Daryl's 'bowling ball' walker had "crossed" eyes ?
